2. "Catch Weight" Pricing Policy

Due to the artisanal nature of fresh butchery, absolute mathematical precision is not always possible when cutting natural biological commodities like fresh meat. Therefore, we operate a Catch Weight Pricing System.

The prices displayed on our website indicate the cost per standard unit (e.g., per kilogram). The total displayed in your shopping cart at checkout is an estimate. Upon placing an order, a payment authorization hold will be placed on your card for the estimated amount plus a small tolerance percentage to account for natural weight variations. Once your specific cut is physically processed and precisely weighed on our state-certified commercial scales, the final exact cost is calculated and only that exact amount is captured from your account. The remaining hold is immediately released.

3. Risk of Loss and Delivery Mechanics

Fresh meat is a highly perishable biological product that requires strictly uninterrupted cold chain logistics. Our responsibility for the product's quality, hygienic packaging, and temperature integrity extends precisely until the order is physically handed over to you or your designated recipient at the agreed delivery location.

Failed Delivery Clause: You are strictly obligated to be physically present at the designated delivery address during your selected delivery window. If a delivery fails due to circumstances directly imputable to you (e.g., you are absent, unreachable, or provided an incorrect address), the legal risk of spoilage instantly transfers to you. The Meat Corner cannot and will not issue refunds for highly perishable goods that spoil due to a consumer abandoning the delivery process.
